NSDI; Washington Framework Overview

Abstract:
The State of Washington is one of many states actively participating in
development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI). The Geospatial
Framework is a key component of the NSDI that involves a collaborative approach
to creating, maintaining, and providing broad access to commonly needed
GIS data. These efforts span all levels of government as well as other types
of organizations. This presentation will focus on what the Geospatial Framework
is, where the concept came from, and what the State of Washington is doing
to meet this fundamental need.
